Our Purpose
Biome Robotics carries out its mission to serve 7th-12th grade students in the greater Raleigh-Durham / RTP area by modeling good character, instilling a passion for how things work, and providing the necessary skills needed in today’s STEM-centric workplace primarily through creating and running student robotics teams that participate in FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics competitions.
Support Our GoFundMe!
We have created a GoFundMe campaign to raise capital funds for new fabrication equipment such as a desktop CNC machine. This equipment will both help our students learn new and valuable skills, as well as help them build better robots.

For Donors
Biome Robotics can help meet your organization’s goal of supporting the local community by providing valuable workplace and STEM skills to middle and high school students who are your future workforce. Our student robotics teams replicate the professional environments they will encounter in the STEM workplace. And as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, all donations to Biome Robotics are tax deductible.

For Volunteers
If you believe it would be rewarding to teach and coach middle and high school students how to build robots, work together effectively as a team, and reach out to their own communities to pay it forward, then Biome Robotics can provide you with a turnkey opportunity to make a real difference in students’ lives. Volunteer with one of our FIRST Tech Challenge robotics teams here in RTP and prepare to be amazed at what these students can do!

For Students
Does the idea of designing, building, and operating robots sound like fun? It is—and you can learn how to do it. All you need is a positive attitude and a willingness to work together with your fellow students, coaches, and mentors to come up with amazing and creative solutions to some pretty thorny problems and have a great time doing it! FIRST Tech Challenge robotics teams put the "Challenge" in "Tech", but it's a blast.
